2026 LAMBING – THE SEASON SO FAR – mAY

Lambing is underway at Wild Valley as of May, with an extended drop into early winter this year following the use of two successive rams.

Eighteen lambs on the ground so far, running very heavily male – 4 ewe lambs, 14 rams! We already have out eye on 3 for growing out as rams, however it is still early days. All 2026 drop animals will be ready to leave the valley from around the 1st September. Reservations for wethers welcome with deposit, or you can join the wait list for ewes or rams as we prefer to assess each ewe and ram lamb around the three to five month age at a minimum before offering for sale – this is to ensure early conformity to the DSBSA standards.
